The Right General Contractor for the Job

There are many different types of contractors, and each one has their own area of expertise. For example, there are general contractors who oversee construction projects, and there are electrical contractors who specialize in electrical work. When you’re hiring a contractor, it’s important to make sure that they have the experience and expertise to do the job

General Contractors have their own employees who typically fill the roles of project manager and Construction Superintendent. Typically the GC will be responsible for the following:

– Overseeing the entire construction project

– Subcontracting out to other tradespeople as needed

– Ordering materials and scheduling their delivery

– Making sure the construction project stays on schedule and within budget

– Coordinating with the customer to make sure they are happy with the progress of the project
